With Stuwart, I’m catching the wave at just the right moment. BAM. Right in the face!
Well… honestly, I have no idea if that’s true. But I find it comforting to believe that nothing really happens by chance.
These past few weeks, there was that phone call. The one that could have left the door open. And then, in the end… nope. The door closed. I was expecting it, to be fair. At first, it stings a little. Okay, fine, it stings a lot. But when you fall, you… get back up! See? I can tell you’re following, because apparently I’m Big Brother now.
And then there were the people around me. The ones who wrote to me. The ones who called me. The ones who reminded me of what I’m capable of when I had slightly forgotten it myself. The ones who gave me energy, ideas, contacts, motivation, and a whole lot of “Go for it, Marie.”
And then there were all those LinkedIn recommendations. Words so kind, so powerful, that I had to read them three times just to think: “Wait… are they actually talking about me here?” “Trust yourself,” said the famous snake.
So no, things do not always go according to plan.
But maybe sometimes, what doesn’t work out is simply pushing you to look elsewhere and take another running start, like in hopscotch. All of that just to build something that truly looks like you.
And today, that something, for me, is called Stuwart.
Purpose or bullshit
Between purpose and bullshit, Stuwart’s heart doesn’t hesitate.
Yeah… I think there’s something waking up in me lately. A deep desire to create communication that goes beyond all the bullshit we’re fed every single day.
Communication that means something. That makes people think. That moves them. That sparks emotions. That tells something real.
And maybe, in the end, this is simply my two careers finally shaking hands.
Because yes, originally, I trained as a social worker. Then life pulled me in another direction. Toward the web, communication, and marketing.
And today, with STUWART, I want to focus on the positive impact my clients want to have on the world.
Okay… said like that, it sounds dangerously close to a TEDx conference sponsored by caffeine and existential questions.
But you get the idea.
Fun, but with meaning
With every word, every image, every message we create, we have the power to build connections. The idea is not just to create websites stuffed with keywords or write blog articles for our dear friend Google. No, Google isn’t really my friend. Siri is. Hey Siri… shut u… Okay, I’m leaving.
So, my goal with Stuwart is to shine a light on the meaning and values behind your work. What your brand truly stands for. What can resonate with people. All of that with your personal touch, mine, or even your grandmother’s. Why not?
Authentic stories
No, actually, I don’t see landing pages as web pages where you just dump content one after another. For me, they are places where you can connect with your customers, places where you can tell stories. The story of your brand, your values, your mission. The goal is to make sure that every person who lands on that page thinks: “Oh yeah, this speaks to me!”
Stuwart loves emotions
Words are my playground. They’re also an incredible way to step into people’s worlds and speak directly to them. When I write, I want to hit straight to the heart… because apparently, I’m the ace of clubs with a tiny emotional dagger. I make sure every word carries meaning, intention, and something that makes your readers vibrate right where their sensitive strings are hiding.
Stuwart brings images to life
I discovered a little passion for video during one of my jobs. I was working for Nicolas, and one day I suggested something called “Marie’s Minute,” a completely off-the-wall segment that explained a topic as thrilling and sexy as environmental monitoring!
There’s no denying it, video is the king of formats today. Everyone knows it. Personally, I think everything moves way too fast! But hey, as I’m getting older… that’s probably normal! Everything is faster: captions, sequences, transitions. At the same time, when I talk with my kids, I have to remember that my message needs to be short and to the point, otherwise I lose their attention. It’s wild!
So what really matters to me is telling your story in a way that truly resonates with the people watching. Short videos, funny ones, but above all, videos that deliver a clear and authentic message… and not at lightning speed!
Stuwart tells your career story
Well yes, a CV is also about telling a story! A CV is the summary of your life journey. That’s the mindset I bring when helping people build theirs and give it real meaning. Your CV will be the very first document your future employer sees. It’s your very first point of contact.
At a glance, you’re either swiped left or swiped right. Nope… or it’s a match! You get the idea, right?
